22nd Annual Madison Antiques Show & Sale

It’s our 22nd year and we are getting ready for another great show! This year’s Antiques Show and Sale will feature over 20 dealers from across the nation who will be displaying the best in American antiques and accessories predominantly from the South. Items range from furniture and vintage linens to silver, pottery, and fine art. Free lectures at 9AM Friday and Saturday before the show. Tickets for show at the door $10. Preview Party Tickets $50.

9AM | Free Lecture | MMCC Auditorium | Wes Holt | “The History and Legacies of Atlanta’s Amazing Oakland Cemetery”

Oakland Cemetery is the final resting place of more than 70,000. Among its many residents are soldiers, mayors, governors, captains of industry, pioneers, authors, and trailblazers. Many of Oakland’s graves are etched with familiar names borne by Atlanta parks, streets, neighborhoods, and businesses. Wes Holt is skilled in nonprofit organizations and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in ornamental horticulture. In this lecture, Wes will take his audience through the history of this wonderful Atlanta landmark.

9AM | Free Lecture | MMCC Auditorium | Mark McDonald | “50 Years of Architecture in Georgia and the History of the Georgia Trust”

Mark McDonald is the President and CEO of The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation since 2008. In this lecture, Mark will look back at the last 50 yeas of architecture in Georgia and the history of the Georgia Trust.
