Music City Comes to Madison: a Nashville In the Round Singer-Songwriter Series

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center proudly presents, Music City Comes to Madison, a Nashville In the Round Singer-Songwriter Series.

The series will include 4 concerts throughout the year in the style of Nashville’s Writers In the Round events. 4 songwriters perform in a line and tell their stories. Award-winning artists share MMCC’s historic stage for an intimate concert experience like none before!

The series kicks off Friday, June 11 from 7-10PM in MMCC’s elegantly restored historic auditorium in Madison, GA. Local favorite and Nashville recording artist Eric Dodd brings with him award-winning songwriters from Nashville including: Grammy-Award winning musician and #1 hit songwriter John Driskell Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band, #1 hit songwriter Marla Cannon-Goodman who has written multiple hit songs for many artists from George Strait to Eric Church and Blake Shelton. 25 year country music journeyman, Brice Long, who has had his songs recorded by superstars such as Garth Brooks, George Strait, Chris Stapleton, and Hank Williams Jr. Long’s most recent hit was the #1 smash “Heartache on the Dance Floor” by Jon Pardi! Doors open at 6PM.

This is a Madison-Morgan Cultural Center fundraising event. All proceeds benefit the Center’s mission to enrich the lives of the residents of its immediate community and the broader region by presenting high-quality programming and educational opportunities in the fields of visual and performing arts, history, and other humanities. MMCC will preserve and interpret its historical buildings and will cooperate with other organizations that have mission-compatible goals.
