Celebrate the Holiday Season at Madison-Morgan Cultural Center

2024 Santa at the Center

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center is more than just a historic location. It’s also a history museum, art museum, historic theatre, and community hub for the arts. The 2024 holiday season is looking merry and bright at the Center. Here are just a few of the events we’re looking forward to sharing with the community this season:

  • Start checking off your Christmas shopping list when you attend the Pop-Up Art Show with Steven Spelman on November 23, 2024, from 11am to 4pm.

  • Get holly jolly with The Hall on Foster’s first Monday Open Mic Night. Tell a story, sing a song, recite a poem, or do a stand-up comedy routine on December 2nd from 7pm to 9pm.

  • Go on a madcap holiday adventure with Buddy the Elf on Tuesday, December 3rd, when you attend MMCC’s Movie on the Lawn featuring Elf.

  • Get a peek inside some of Madison’s beautiful privately-owned historic homes when you get your ticket to the 2024 Madison Holiday Tour of Homes on December 6th and 7th.

  • Attend A Burchfield Family Christmas concert featuring Sam Burchfield, Pip the Pansy, and Cicada Rhythm on Friday, December 13th, to hear well-known holiday favorites as well as seasonal deep-cuts.

  • On December 15th, come out to enjoy a Community Holiday Concert on the historic MainStage at MMCC. Get in free when you bring a canned goods donation for The Caring Place.

  • The pinnacle of our holiday season is the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert on December 19th. This has been an annual favorite for over 45 years.

Plus, beat cabin fever over winter break by bringing your family out to visit the Madison History Museum at MMCC. Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the front desk (and get a prize for participation). Ring the school bell while you’re visiting, and find the perfect Christmas gifts in the Museum Shop.

Tis the season for festive fun, and we hope you’ll consider celebrating with the community here at MMCC.
