Well-known and well-loved jazz pianist, Joe Alterman takes the stage with his trio and distinguished jazz vocalist Karla Harris for an evening of jazz standards and favorites from the Great American Songbook. Joe is one of the hardest swinging young pianists orthe jazz scene today, who began at NYU with a BA and Master's in Jazz Piano and has since performed at many world-renowned venues including the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Birdland, and Blue Note. Karla Harris, native of St. Louis, was part of Portland, Oregon's celebrated jazz scene before relocating to the East coast.
