The Madison Chamber Music Festival returns to Madison from March 2nd to 5th, 2023! Join us for a weekend filled with world-class chamber music performances by internationally-acclaimed musicians. Walk-up tickets will available for these performances.

Musical Adventures with Babar, Ferdinand, & Skywalker - Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 | 4:30PM | MMCC Auditorium | FREE

This Free Family Concert features the enchanting musical tales of Babar the Elephant, Ferdinand the Bull, and Star Wars. This delightful afternoon concert will be performed by pianist Julie Coucheron along with fellow pianist William Ransom and violinist Helen Hwaya Kim, and narrated by Atlanta’s WABE radio host, Lois Reitzes. Spanish Brass - Friday, March 3rd, 2023 | 7:30PM

An evening of fiery, energetic music with the international award-winning brass quintet. With a thirty-two year trajectory in the world of chamber music, Spanish Brass is one of the most dynamic groups on the international music stage. A Night At The Opera - Saturday, March 4th, 2023 | 7:30PM

A night of operatic offerings by soprano Maria Valdes, tenor John Riesen, and pianist Julie Coucheron. Maria Valdes has been praised for her “silvery tone, glassily smooth phrasing, and fine-caliber dynamics” by the San Francisco Classical Voice, and John Riesen is hailed as "every inch the hero in stature and voice” (Classical Voice North America), consistently impressing the audiences with his impassioned… and vibrant” timbre (Opera Today). The concert will feature beloved songs and arias from your favorite operas and musicals such as Madama Butterfly, Gianni Shcicchi, Tosca, West Side Story, and Phantom of the Opera. Georgian Chamber Players - Sunday, March 5th, 2023 | 4:00PM

Atlanta’s premier chamber music group performs a delightful afternoon program with music by Johannes Brahms, Ludvig van Beethoven, and Antonin Dvořák. Georgian Chamber Players was founded in 1984 and consists of all of the principal players of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra led by concertmaster David Coucheron. Principal violist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Zhenwei Shi, Acting ASO Principal Cellist Daniel Laufer and concert pianist Julie Coucheron will also perform.
