A.D. Blanco

  • Madison-Morgan Cultural Center 434 South Main Street Madison, GA, 30650 United States (map)

Versatile Athens band A.D. Blanco returns to the historic Madison-Morgan Cultural Center theatre for another exciting Mainstage Concert on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at 7:30pm. Join us for a night of music, lights, and dancing as they deliver a performance full of classic hits and electric melodies.

A.D. Blanco's most recent project, April's Fool (EP), was released 04/21/2023 following a 10-day tour through the South East. After more weekend-tours over the Summer, The band ventured unto the road again in October 2023, promoting the latest project to the Tri-State area, playing their most notable shows in Philadelphia, PA, and Manhattan, NY.

Secondhand Life (EP, 2022) and Time Never Wasted (Album, 2021) constitute the remainder of the band’s discography. Most of their early work resembles excitable, post-grunge indie rock - Kings of Leon and the Strokes draw close comparison. Recently, the band has taken on a more introspective identity, finding inspiration in bands like Flipturn, The Backseat Lovers, and Father John Misty.

Few bands have called Athens, Georgia home for as long as A.D. Blanco. Life-long friends Bennett Evans (Madison, GA) and Aaron White (Watkinsville, GA) have walked the streets of the Classic City since the early 2000s and created art and music together since 2014 under various projects. Listeners and show goers feel a tangible camaraderie amongst the ranks of A.D. Blanco, and an air of experience, presence, and professionalism.
